Before the wedding, we'll talk through your timeline, the people who matter most to you, the photographs you care about, and everything I need to know to walk into your day prepared.
When the wedding arrives, I'll give direction when you need it, keep things moving when things need to move, and step back when the moment is better left alone.

Once you’ve chosen your collection, a signed agreement and retainer officially reserve your date.

A FEW THINGS YOU MIGHT BE WONDERING
When will we receive our photos?
I know you’re going to want to see them! I’ll send over a handful of sneak peeks within a few days of your wedding so you have something to share (and stare at) while I work on the rest. Your full gallery will be carefully edited and delivered within 6–8 weeks.
How many photos will we get?
Honestly, it depends on your wedding! I don’t shoot toward a specific number or leave out great photos just to hit a certain count. You’ll get a full gallery that tells the story of your day — the big moments, the people you love, and plenty of the little things happening in between.
How do we reserve our date?
Easy! Once you’re ready to move forward, I’ll send over an agreement and invoice. Your date is officially yours once the agreement is signed and the 25% retainer is paid. Then we can start planning!
What if we’re not sure how many hours we need?
Totally normal. You don’t need to have your wedding-day timeline figured out before you reach out. Tell me what you’re planning and what matters most to you, and I’ll help you figure out which collection makes the most sense. And if we realize later that you need another hour, we can always add coverage.
Do we need a second photographer?
Not necessarily! Plenty of weddings can be photographed really well with one photographer. A second photographer becomes especially helpful with larger weddings, multiple locations, or when we want coverage of two things happening at the same time — like both of you getting ready. We’ll talk through your day and figure out what actually makes sense rather than adding something you don’t need.
We’re awkward in front of the camera. Is that a problem?
Good — you’ll be like most of the people I photograph! You don’t need to know how to pose or somehow become a model for the day. I’ll give you direction when you need it, keep things moving, and then get out of the way when the real moments are happening. My job is to help you feel comfortable enough to actually enjoy being together.
Do you travel?
Absolutely! I’m based in the Kansas City area and photograph weddings throughout the region. If your wedding takes me a little farther from home, just tell me where you’re headed and I’ll make any additional travel costs clear upfront. No surprise fees later.
